Join Ranger Hatmaker for a guided kayak tour of beautiful Cove Lake during the full moon. During the fun 2 hour tour, Ranger Hatmaker will guide you from the boat dock area to the fishing pier located in the picnic area to witness the full moon and gaze at the stars over Cove Lake. Be sure to bring water to carry with you. Registration fee is non-refundable (unless cancelled by the park staff/thunder/lightning). Must be 14 years old or older. Children 14-16 years of age must have a parent accompany them. Kayaks, paddles, and personal floatation devices will be provided to the 11 persons who register through this link under the "Renting Kayak" tab. Each registration will include a headlamp for each participant to keep.

Unlimited spaces are available to those who have their own kayak! Pre-registration is required and there is a $15 fee for kayak launch and headlamp.
