Our Mission
The mission of the Cumberland Gap Region Tourism Association is to (1) promote tourism within the ten counties of the Cumberland Gap Region and to (2) serve as a clearing-house for training and development of tourism programs and events in the ten counties located within a 25-mile radius of Cumberland Gap. The Cumberland Gap Region encompasses parts of three states. Yet, we are all one people with a common goal, to (3) encourage, build, and maintain a better economy for the Cumberland Gap Region through the promotion of tourism and tourism development.
WHERE WE ARE
The Cumberland Gap Region is four counties in Kentucky, five counties in Tennessee and one county in Virginia. All within a 25 mile radius of the historic Cumberland Gap. The region spans across the mountains, rivers, and lakes that are home to people who love the mild climate and the nurturing environment.
