Learn how to sculpt a clay wine flower pot while enjoying a glass of wine! Join us for a pottery class taught by potters from the pottery department of the Appalachian Arts and Craft Center in Clinton, TN.

Each student will create a beautiful, hand-crafted, textured clay flowerpot. Expert potters will lead you through each step of the process with hands-on instruction. Learn the basics of clay sculpting, glazing and firing. The class is $40 and includes all materials including the glaze and firing. Appalachian Art Center Potters will finish the stoppers with glaze colors of your choice before returning them to The Winery for pick up.

Local meat and cheese trays, as well as discounted glasses of wine, slushies and ciders are available for purchase during the class. Arrive early to enjoy a $4 wine tasting, allowing you to try 8 of our amazing wines and choose your favorites.

Seating is very limited and tickets need to be purchased in advance. Give us a call at (865)745-2902 or sign up through Eventbrite by following the ticket link. Please remember to bring a valid, photo ID. The clay will need to be glazed and fired before being returned to The Winery. You must return to The Winery at a later date to pick up your finished pots
