Come learn how to use a pottery wheel and create pottery of your very own!
This workshop will take place on May 28 through June 1 from 1pm to 4pm with the glazing of the pottery pieces taking place on June 3 and 4 from 5pm to 7pm. This workshop will take place at the LMU Center for the Arts in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee.
Join LMU student and artist Belle Blake for a workshop on using the pottery wheel. Participants will learn the basics of using a potter’s wheel such as centering, coning, opening, and climbing their clay into bowls, cups, and more. All levels of experience are welcome. Join us for this fun event and learn all about the pottery wheel!
This workshop is for participants ages 11 to 13.
The cost of this workshop is $50. Scholarships are available.
This workshop will be held in person at the LMU Center for the Arts in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee.
