Herb Garden and a Glass - UNION COUNTY

  • Cumberland Gap Region Tourism Association 613 Main St NEW TAZEWELL United States (map)

Grow herbs for cooking all season long. Plant your very own kitchen herb garden while you enjoy a glass of wine! Herbs are easy to grow, wonderful to eat and virtually pest-free. These marvelous plants add fragrance to your garden and gusto to your meals. In this Garden and a Glass class, Allen Beeler will help you explore all the delight herbs can bring and show you which herbs grow best in containers.

First, we will go over different herbs and how they grow best. Then, Allen will guide you through planting and arranging your own kitchen herb garden. Each $35 ticket will include at least 5 different herb plants, soil, planter, one-on-one instruction and a glass of wine. Additional herbs will be available for purchase.

Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling (865)745-2902 or through Eventbrite by clicking the ticket link.

The class will be held outside, under our tent. This event is rain or shine. All materials, instruction and a glass of wine are included in the ticket price. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Please bring a valid ID. Any participant under the age of 21 or without a valid ID is welcome but will receive a glass of grape juice during the class. Local meat and cheese trays and well as additional glasses of wine, slushies, and ciders are available for purchase during the class.
