This workshop will take place on June 24 from 6pm to 9pm and June 25 from 2pm to 5pm at Avery Hall on the main Lincoln Memorial University Campus in Harrogate, Tennessee.
We’ve all heard that the human mind is hardwired for stories. It’s certainly true. All stories have an effect on us, but personal narratives create a unique bond between teller and listener; it creates an impact that’s lasting. Perhaps you want to seal a business deal, let your kids know about Grandma, persuade a jury, get a laugh around the Thanksgiving Day dinner, or maybe even propose marriage. Our workshop will help you polish and perfect your story. Don’t have a story yet? Sure you do! We’ll help you find it and delight with you in your journey to share it. Let’s create a memory together. Come explore the traditional Appalachian art of storytelling with storyteller Tennessee Rick Elliot in this fun and engaging 2-day workshop.
