Daniel Boone, America's best known 18th century backwoodsman breeched the barrier of the Cumberland Mountains in 1769 as he journeyed through the Cumberland Gap into Kentucky. This first trip was not just a hunting expedition, but the fist westward migration. In conjunction with Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, join us for a weekend of programming celebrating Boone's excursion. Evening program at the National Park for the 14th will be announced at a later date.
