Join Seasonal Ranger Cheyenne for our first hike to the Wheeler Cemetery!

We will walk through the cemetery and learn about the founders of the area of Caryville where Cove Lake State Park is located.

Ranger Rooker and park staff and volunteers have worked tediously the last 2 years clearing the way and building a trail to access the cemetery.

Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and bring water with you

The trail is semi-moderate in difficulty and is not ADA accessible

Program is free but EACH person attending MUST be registered as the event cannot have more than 9 persons to comply with CDC Recommendations

Children under 16 must have a registered parent accompany them at all times

All Participants must be pre-registered online

Please only sign up if you REALLY intend to participate. Also please let us know as soon as possible if your plans change and you can't participate. This will allow us to make room for someone else who had hoped to come along.
