Lincoln Memorial University invites you to The Knoxville Opera’s production of ROMEO AND JULIET! This educational outreach program is presenting a free abbreviated staged/costumed opera of Shakespeare’s classic play (in English) set to the beautiful music of Charles Gounod. Please join us on January 7 at 1:30 p.m. in the Sam and Sue Mars Performing Arts Center. Grades 4-12 can enjoy this 35-minute presentation. A post-show Q&A session between students and performers is included. Teacher/Student Guides will be provided in advance. Also, learn about the “Student Dress Rehearsal” of the complete production at the Tennessee Theatre on February 12, 2020.
