Description: Join CT Trails Administrator Mark Stanfill & Ranger Dalton Miller to hike the newest open segment of the CT!
We will meet at the CT Main Office (220 Park Rd, Caryville, TN 37714) at 9am ET - then make the trip to the Carr Gap Trailhead in Claiborne County.
This is a segment of trail which nearly completes the CT's northern connection to the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park and we will discuss the progress of the CT's entire 300+ mile corridor.
**We must caution: This is a very strenuous hike with a serious elevation gain, rocky footing, and is meant for serious-hikers. For safety, the trip is limited to 15 individuals, Ages 18+, and we are asking to not bring pets.
