Appalachian Mountain Ecology Summer Camp

Have your teen (14-17 year olds) spend a week in the rich, green forests of the Appalachian Mountains—known as the most significant biodiversity “hotspot” east the Rocky Mountains. In this summer overnight camp, students will work with researchers to investigate one of its most diverse and secretive inhabitants—salamanders and explore their relationship to water quality in the region.
