Southeast is hosting the 32nd Annual East Kentucky Leadership Conference on our Cumberland campus.
Established in 1987, the East Kentucky Leadership Foundation has brought together leaders and community members from all walks of life and throughout Eastern Kentucky. This two-day conference held every April focuses on issues important to the region. Any person or group that aspires to a leadership role in Eastern Kentucky should take this opportunity to meet with other leaders from throughout the region to share ideas for solutions to the obstacles that have kept the region from reaching its full potential.
Sessions include:
*An Update on the Work of the What’s Next Network,
*Overcoming Barriers to a 21st Century Workforce,
*Growing a Hemp Economy,
*Capitalizing on the Economics of Lakes,
*Using 21st Century Technology to Build Your Business,
*Broadband in Eastern Kentucky: It is Happening,
*Meeting the Need for the 21st Century Healthcare Workforce
The East Kentucky Leadership Conference is not a conference for a few speakers and listeners. The goal is to make everyone a speaker, a listener, and, most importantly, an effective leader. The leaders of Eastern Kentucky must work together to solve the challenges facing the region.
We hope you make plans to join us at the 2019 East Kentucky Leadership Conference at Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College in Cumberland. Register online at www.eklf.org
