August is coming to a close! The Farmer's Market extends through September, we have only two City Yard Sales left of the season, and only one more Moonbow Nights event til next year! Next on the agenda are Halloween and Christmas plans, but first, our annual October Festival in Nibroc Park!
If you have never been able to participate before, The October Festival is an event that primarily highlights local arts, crafts, organizations, businesses, community fundraisers, etc. We also have a variety of food and snack vendors on site and are always looking into ways to incorporate activities for children and families as well! Anyone is welcome to reach out and be a part of setting up at the event and all of the community is certainly encouraged to come attend!
This year, we are doing something a little different aside from just a change in the name. This year, we are making it a two day event starting on Sunday, October the 13th for limited hours and then extending into Monday, October the 14th. This allows for more community participation and helps expand upon what is always a very successful and popular event!
If you would like to set up as a vendor at this year's October Festival, please send an email to aaron.sturgill@corbin-ky.gov with your name, contact information (email and phone), what you will have at your booth, any requests or requirements from us (electrical access, tent rental if offered, etc), and what days you are participating. We do ask that any vendors that can do so please participate both days so you will have the space available. If you can only participate on one of the two days, you may do so, but you will be asked to set up and tear down your space on that day. Please feel to reach out by email or phone if you have any questions! I look forward to another great event with you!
