Pine Mountain State Resort Park

TRANSPORTATION: Our trip will be departing Barbourville, from the Best Western parking lot, at 11:00 a.m. Each member is responsible for their own transportation, but Victor maybe able to transport three additional members.

COSTS: LOW. Basically the cost of getting there. Park and trails are free. It is advisable to bring snacks and a drink. Some members of the group may elect to stop for lunch.

Join us in hiking the beautiful Pine Mountain State Park hiking trails:

1. Fern Trail (Easy, 0.5 miles); 2. Ridge Runner Trail (Moderate, 0.7 miles); 3. Honeymoon Falls Trail (Moderate, 1.0 miles); 4. Chained Rock Trail (Moderate, 1.0 miles); 5. Laurel Cove Trail (Hard, 2.7 miles).
We will decide which trails to hike on the day of the event based on what the members want to hike, and of course the weather. I personally will be hiking come rain, snow, or whatever.
DISTANCE from Barbourville: 16-21 miles, approximately 30 minutes.
