Those who have their own kayak, must be hard bottomed kayak- no inflatables or paddleboards allowed, Pre-registration is required and there is a $15 fee for launching and a headlamp. Registration is limited to 10 persons. Age limit of 14 and older still applies.

Join Ranger Rooker for a guided kayak tour of beautiful Cove Lake during the full moon. During the fun 2 hour tour, Ranger Rooker will guide you from the boat dock area to the fishing pier located in the picnic area to witness the full moon and gaze at the stars over Cove Lake. Be sure to bring water to carry with you. 
Registration fee is refundable if cancelled 15 or more days prior to event date or if cancelled by park staff due to thunder/lightning on the day of event. Fee is non-refundable if cancelled less than 14 days prior to event date.   Must be 14 years old or older. Children 14-16 years of age must have a parent accompany them. 
Kayaks, paddles, and personal flotation devices will be provided to the 11 persons who register through this link under the "Park Provided Kayak" tab. Each registration will include a headlamp for each participant to keep. Fee is $25.00 per person.
