Witches’ Ride and Gobblins’ Stroll

On October 23, we will gather to decorate our bikes (brooms), dress up in our wicked witch-attire and goblin garbs to bring together our community for a safe social distancing event in downtown historic Cumberland Gap. 

The route includes portions of Colwyn Avenue, Lynn Avenue and the Cumberland Gap Nature and Bike Trail. Check-in location at the corner of Llewelyn Avenue and Colwyn Avenue. Look for the Guardians of the Gap tent. Upon check-in you will receive a map of the route. If you would rather be a Spooktator, bring a chair or a blanket and find a great spot along the path to cheer on the riders and walkers.

Prizes will be awarded for Best Witch costume, Best Goblin costume, Best Witch cackle, Best Group Costume, and Best Decorated Bike. 

Please check-in no later than 6:30pm to be included in the "Best" contests. The awards will start at 7:00pm. All participants will receive coupons to area business, as well as an opportunity to enter drawings for prizes. For more information, check out the event on Facebook - Guardians of the Gap.
