This reenactment takes place along the Cumberland River on the Minton Hickory Farm, South Hwy. 225 (about 3/4 mile from town) in Barbourville, commemorating the first conflict of the Civil War in Kentucky that resulted in casualties on both sides.  Battles staged Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  Authentic Confederate & Federal Army camps; thundering cannons; infantry, cavalry, & artillery demonstrations.  www.battleofbarbourville.com.
